WKF Athletes’ Commission Elections 2018

In accordance with the Rules of the WKF Athletes’ Commission (https://wkf.net/pdf/rules/WKFAthletesCommission2016_new.pdf-eng.pdf), please be informed that during the Madrid World Senior Championships in the month of November 2 athletes will be elected by their peers as members of the WKF Athletes’ Commission.

The period for presenting candidatures is hereby open until 21st October. All candidatures must be submitted to the WKF HQ (wkf@wkf.net) by the relevant NF where the candidate belongs, including a resume and a picture of the candidate, as well as his/her explicit acceptance. A candidate, in order for the candidature to be valid, must participate / have participated as an athlete in two World Senior Championships from the last 3 editions (2014 / 2016 / 2018). An exception to this, following point 4 of the AC Rules, are the two current AC members elected in Bremen 2014 whose term expires in Madrid, namely Douglas Brose (Brazil) and Antonio Díaz (Venezuela). Both are eligible in their condition of current AC members, subject to their presentation of candidatures to this process.
